Decarb Connect's mission is to accelerate decarbonisation in energy-intensive industries such as steel, cement, glass, chem, refining, ceramics and similar sectors which face significant challenges if they are to decarbonise and meet legislative deadlines, in addition to the expectations of investors and customers
Launched in January 2020, we are a growing start-up with an experienced leadership team, all committed to supporting energy intensive sectors in this complex work. Our platform is comprised of a private members network, an international events series, reports, webinars and a podcast series.
We are seeking a positive, smart, collaborative, and high energy candidate to help us grow our Industrial revenue and attendance across our Events and Decarbonisation Leaders Network whilst helping us identify new opportunities to serve our audience.
You must be UK based and able to work in London. We are unable to sponsor new employees, so you must have the legal right to work in the UK.
This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate with up to 12 months commercial experience to join the Decarb Connect team where you'll be supported in developing new business as well as helping past clients rebook for events. You’ll be responsible for outreach to industrial companies and the ecosystem more generally, prospecting new leads, leveraging enquiries and developing a strong pipeline of contacts from which you’ll close a regular flow of monthly deals.
You'll be tasked with selling both memberships and tickets to attend our international conferences. You’ll build strong working relationships with your clients and will work closely with the Chief Commercial Officer and Community Manager to ensure that they get value from their engagement at all stages.
You’ll be tasked with sourcing new clients across North America, Europe and MENA whilst working with the team on future geographical expansion. KPI’s:
· Daily and weekly targets for dials, conversations and email follow up
· Tasked with 12-15k monthly revenue target
